Derek Hayes

Recruiter, ETCM(SW) / CWO3 USN ret.

Derek is the east coast regional recruiter for VerticalPath. He canvasses areas that include major bases such as Norfolk, Virginia, Groton, Connecticut, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Fort Bragg, North Carolina and Jacksonville, Florida.

Derek spent more than 20 years in the Navy's Nuclear Power Program as a senior enlisted technician and propulsion plant supervisor (E-9) and retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer.

His sea going commands included two nuclear power guided missile cruisers (USS Mississippi & USS Bainbridge) and an aircraft carrier (USS Abraham Lincoln). He has spent ten solid years in technical recruiting since leaving the Navy in 1997.

Derek resides in Richmond, Virginia.
